Arugam Bay - Ella (5.00 - 8.00 am)

  • You will be picked up from your hotel in Arugam Bay at 5.00 am. Transfer you to Ella. Approximately 3 hours drive.

Ella

  • Your Ella excursion will start with the hike to see the sunrise at little Adam’s peak. 
  • You can witness the snow-white clouds begin rolling away while dawn drifts down and able to enjoy the view over the valley. The journey through local villages and tea plantations is a great experience on an off the beaten track with panoramic views.
  • After climbing down the Little Adam’s peak, you can have breakfast.
  • After that, start walking to explore the most amazing engineering work of the colonial period, the Nine arches railway bridge. You can see the train passing the bridge. 
  • Then you will visit the famous Demodara Railway station where you can see the spiral railway loop and will walk through the Demodara railway tunnel to the black bridge nearby.
  • After that, you can have your lunch at a recommended restaurant.
  • After lunch, visit to see Ravana Falls, the famous waterfall in Ella. 
  • Finally, experience authentic village life in a farming village.

  • Tour will finish at around 5.30 pm and transfer you back to Arugam Bay. Approximately 3 hours drive.
