    Yahangala is located in the Kalugala area 60 km northeast of Mahiyanganaya. This mountain has a unique shape of the bed. It is believed that King Ravana was laid here to rest after he lost the battle to King Rama. People in the area believe that the king’s body is hidden on the left side of Yahangala and he will sleep until wakes up again. The hike to Yahangala is somewhat difficult but the 360-degree view at the top is amazing.
